5. Take proper diet
Preventive methods include taking care of our diet and foods rich in properties that prove anti-viral effects, the ability to kill viruses or to enhance our immune system naturally. Some examples of such foods are consuming fruits rich in vitamin C such as oranges, amla, lemons as they are known to enhance their immunity. Eat almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, and tulsi.
6. Wash your hand properly
Make a habit of regular and proper washing of hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Doing this will kill all the germs that may be present on the surfaces of your hands. Do not touch your mouth, nose, and eyes with your hands without washing them properly with soap and water.
Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer in case of washing with soap and water is not possible. But always remember sanitizer is only an option and not a substitute for soap and water.
